Safeguarding Shield is a UK safeguarding consultancy supporting schools, colleges, FE providers, charities, faith organisations, community groups and other organisations to strengthen safeguarding practice, culture and confidence. Founded by Salma Omokaro, a safeguarding professional with extensive experience across education, welfare and safeguarding, Safeguarding Shield provides practical, proportionate and organisation-focused support. Our approach goes beyond asking whether a safeguarding policy exists. We look at how safeguarding is understood, implemented and experienced across an organisation from leadership and governance to frontline practice.
